It has been announced today that 23 year old Canadian violinist, VC Young Artist Blake Pouliot will join the roster of Opus 3 Artists, in New York City – for worldwide general management.

A graduate student of Robert Lipsett at the Colburn School, Blake is a former 1st prize winner of the 2016 Montreal Symphony Orchestra Manulife Strings Competition.

He currently performs on a 1729 Guarneri del Gesù – on generous loan from the Canada Council for the Arts Musical Instrument Bank.

“I’m so thrilled to join Opus 3 Artists … it is immensely exciting to be among a community of artists whose musicianship inspires me so much,” Blake has told The Violin Channel.

“I can’t wait for the discoveries and development the future holds,” he has said.

Opus 3’s esteemed roster also includes violinists Leonidas Kavakos, Gil Shaham, Gidon Kremer, Sarah Chang, Kyung Wha Chung, Isabelle Faust, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Miriam Fried, cellists Yo-Yo Ma and Alisa Weilerstein – and VC Artists Stefan Jackiw, Benjamin Beilman, Alexi Kenney, Simone Porter, Tobias Feldmann and Edgar Moreau.

Blake will be managed by New York-based manager Christina Baker.

“I am thrilled to welcome Blake to the roster of Opus 3 Artists … and look forward to what I know will be a bright future,” Christina has told The Violin Channel.
