🎻 Under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin, this concert’s program is infused with Mozart’s melodic genius and Beethoven’s lasting legacy. The inventive and playful Violin Concerto No. 5, features uninterrupted melodies that come to life in soloist-in-residence Blake Pouliot’s lively virtuosity. And Beethoven’s influence comes through in both Brahms’s Symphony No. 1 and the opening piece by Carlos Simon.

In the midst of a global pandemic, a small chamber orchestra took on the impossible: safely producing a classical music concert with a live audience.

Working tirelessly with musicians, unions, staff, and supporters, the Reno Chamber Orchestra built relationships with a new venue, became certified COVID Compliance Officers, and learned how to record, edit, and sync a professional video production.

While staying true to tradition, the Reno Chamber Orchestra is moving forward into the 21st Century - we look forward to continuing to create and share memorable, professional musical experiences with you for years to come.
